Revision 04 · Withdrawn
Trust delta is withdrawn
Was
Trust delta: what happens to “trustworthy” and “authentic” as our AI content share rises.
Now
Withdrawn. It breaks Principle One.
What changed
Trust delta was row ten of Annex A, offered as the Human Ledger’s answer to brand awareness. It is now struck through. It stays on the table, visibly, with a link to this note.
Why
It was the second of the two metrics Part I admitted break Principle One. “Trustworthy” and “authentic” are verdicts on the work, not conditions of it: measuring them means somebody decides what authentic output looks like.
The concern behind it hasn’t gone away. What happens to trust as machine-made content rises is still worth knowing. It just can’t be a line in a disclosure standard that promises never to grade the work.
A standard that hides its retractions is not a standard. So the row stays, struck through, with the date and the reason.
